Anti-Social Disorder is a mental health condition that causes a person to have hurtful behaviors without acknowledging the consequences of their actions. Being anti-social will cause a person to have a lack of empathy, be manipulative, and have a total disregard for rules. Anti-Social will affect the way you think and how you percieve other people. I was once this person. I lacked compassion for other people, always thought about what I wanted at the expense of others, and had no remorse.

So what are the symptoms? Hostility, physical aggression, passive aggression, impulsive behavior, lying and manipulation to use people for your own personal gain. All of these behaviors are the result of person who is mentally and emotionally struggling. People who struggle being anti-social do so for different reasons. Some people feel that they don't belong in society. Others struggle with their own self confidence, so they take it out on others.

Anti-Social Disorder usually begins at a young age. Adults who struggle with social skills usually struggled with it during childhood. Nobody decided to just one day "I'm not going to talk to people anymore". Their isolation began when they were a child when nobody took the time to address the issue and it became a part of their personality. Their is no direct cause for anti-personality disorder. There is a whole lot of factors that play into their behavior.

The best way to treat anti-social disorder is to address the issue while they are still a child before it becomes a permanent part of their life. Habits are extremely hard break. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes to treat it. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help address the issues. Medications is also a too however, it can help you better manage the behavior, I wouldn't put too much faith into pills. At the end of the day, that is responsible for their behavior. No matter how much you try, they have to want to do better. I hope this blog helps you understand anti-social behavior.
